In the 1995 sequel Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers, the Man in Black is revealed to be Doctor Wynn, the head of the Cult of Thorn, seeking to contain and control Michael Myers. This time around, Doctor Wynn was played by former Dark Shadows star Mitchell Ryan.
When and where did Halloween start?
Halloween's origins date back to the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain (pronounced sow-in). The Celts, who lived 2,000 years ago in the area that is now Ireland, the United Kingdom and northern France, celebrated their new year on November 1.
Can you cook and eat Halloween pumpkins?
Although typical large carving pumpkins can taste awful, they are edible. It is always best to use "cooking pumpkins" when selecting a pumpkin which you intend to eat. If possible, carve it on Halloween and bring it in that night. Leave it in a cool, dark place until you cook it.
